HOW CAN WE HELP?
At US Taekwondo Academy we are always here to help
Absolutely! We start our Little Ninjas at 4 years old, so don’t hesitate to enroll your young one in our martial arts school. In fact, we strongly encourage starting your child with martial arts as early as possible so they grow into the art form as they grow up as a individual. Martial arts can provide the self-esteem and confidence children need to flourish in society and excel in all aspects of their lives, including home, school and extra-curricular activities.
Your child will benefit from the discipline, exercise and fun they will have at U.S. Tae Kwon Do Academy. We incorporate martial arts “way of life” teachings in our classes to encourage students to be respectful and to strive to do their best at home, school and their daily lives. Your child will benefit tremendously from USTA martial arts training, so click the “Get Started” link in the menu now to start your child’s enrollment process.
Yes! In fact, we strongly encourage parents to enroll with their children to serve as a positive example and role model as well as to provide ongoing encouragement for your child. Our positive environment can serve a welcomed activity for personal and family growth. So, don’t hesitate to join your child’s martial arts class today!
It’s unlikely that your child can attend a health club with you and you would probably feel a little out of place if you joined in with your son or daughter’s soccer team. Yet, at United States Tae Kwon Do Academy, every age of family member can train together in the same class.
As a parent, you will be setting an invaluable example for your child about the importance of regular exercise. Best of all, no two classes are alike. You and your children will appreciate the varied, high-energy workouts and be motivated to attend lessons regularly.
I’m sure you are always aware of the places your child goes and the people that surround them. At USTA you can be confident that you and your family will be developing relationships with sincere, motivated, healthy families dedicated to self-improvement. You will also share the pride of seeing each family member advance and move on to each new belt. It is something that the entire family will be proud of!
The more styles you know, the more able you will be to address different situations. Each martial arts style approaches situations differently, and understanding various ways to solve problems can give you an edge to overcome nearly any obstacle. This is true for virtually any facet of life, and the same is true of martial arts. The more you know, the better off you will be.
There are several paths to success in the world of the martial arts. Rather than trying to take each child and mold them into the mirror image of some “ancient master,” we teach the fundamentals that every functional martial artist should know and then let the child develop their own “personal style” based on their body’s attributes and their personal tastes.
How is this done? We achieve these results through a dynamic training program that includes group instruction with other students. We use our own way of teaching children to excel with the attitude of “YES, I CAN!” We believe this is the best way for a student to develop actual self-defense skills and it is infinitely more fun than the traditional static training methods used in most martial arts “dojos.”
